Pervomaysky District (Russian: Первома́йский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Tomsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 15,554.18 square kilometers (6,005.50 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Pervomayskoye.[1] Population: 18,947 (2010 Census);[3] 21,260 (2002 Census);[6] 23,350 (1989 Census).[7] The population of Pervomayskoye accounts for 29.8% of the district's total population.[3]
