Ptychoglossus is a genus of New World lizards. Species in the genus Ptychoglossus range from Costa Rica through Peru and Brazil, being usually restricted to forested habitats.

The following 15 species are recognized as being valid.[2]

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Ptychoglossus.
