The Reading Railroad Outer Station was a former train station in Reading, Pennsylvania that served as a major hub between Philadelphia, Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Built in 1874, the station existed until 1978 when the building burned to the ground.[1] According to the Reading Eagle, the station was one of two in Reading, the other being the Reading Railroad Franklin Street Station. The Outer Station, as it was known was on the outskirts of the city.[2]
