San Rafael Bay is an embayment of San Pablo Bay, the northern portion of the larger San Francisco Bay, on the west coast of the United States.[1]
The bay is located along the Marin County coast in county waters adjacent to the city of the same name.[1] The embayment hosts the Marin Islands and the San Rafael Creek estuary; the river drains into the bay.[1]
