Scott Paulin (born February 13, 1950) is an American actor and television director.

Career

His work includes appearances in well-known television series like House M.D., ER (Season 4 Episode 21 "The Little Children"), Cold Case, 24 and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'. His film roles have included playing Deke Slayton in The Right Stuff, Brian Hunter in Pump Up the Volume, and roles in A Soldier's Story, Warning Sign,The Accused, I Am Sam and the Red Skull (Tadzio de Santis) in the 1990 film, Captain America. He is also portraying the father of Kate Beckett in the series Castle.

Personal life

Paulin was born in Steubenville, Ohio. He and his wife actress Wendy Phillips have been married since 1981. They have a daughter, Jenny Dare Paulin. Paulin majored in Government at Pomona College (Claremont, California), graduating in 1971.[1]
