Scottish Geographical Medal

The Scottish Geographical Medal is the most prestigious award of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and recognises conspicuous merit and achievement of international repute. First awarded in 1890 as the Gold Medal, it was given its current name in 1933.[1]
