The Serbian women's national basketball team (Serbian: Женска кошаркашка репрезентација Србије / Ženska košarkaška reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in international basketball matches and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of Serbia. Serbia is currently ranked seventeenth in the FIBA World Rankings.[1]

It was known as the "FR Yugoslavia / Serbia and Montenegro women's national basketball team" until June 2006. When Serbia became independent, it became the successor state to the Serbia and Montenegro and, therefore, the results of previous state FR Yugoslavia / Serbia and Montenegro rightfully belong to it.[2] However FR Yugoslavia / Serbia and Montenegro is not considered to be the successor of SFRY so the results before 1992 don't belong to the current team.[3]
