Shannon Stubbs is a Canadian politician who was elected to represent the riding of Lakeland in the House of Commons of Canada in the Canadian federal election, 2015.[1]
Stubbs was also the Wildrose candidate for Fort Saskatchewan-Vegreville in the Alberta election of 2012. She won the party's nomination when Ed Stelmach was premier and local MLA,[2] but despite his resignation, the seat was held by PC candidate and former Strathcona County councillor Jacquie Fenske. Her soon-to-be husband, Shayne Saskiw, was elected for Wildrose in Lac La Biche-St. Paul-Two Hills.
She previously served as Danielle Smith's chief of staff from 2010-2012 among other positions within the Wildrose party.[3]
