The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel is the 33rd-tallest building in Toronto,[1][2] and is the tallest all-hotel building in Toronto.[3][4] When it opened in 1972 it was the second largest hotel in Toronto with 1,450 rooms, behind only the Royal York Hotel. The hotel was originally a joint venture with the Four Seasons chain, and was named the Four Seasons Sheraton Hotel.[5] That connection was severed in 1976 when Four Seasons founder Issy Sharp sold his 49 percent share in the hotel.
