St. Hyacinthe–Donnacona Navy was a amateur Canadian football team during World War II. They won the Grey Cup in 1944.[1]
Game
Both the Canadian Football League West Division, and the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union did not have a 1944 regular season due to World War II. Smaller leagues did participate for the playoffs, St. Hyacinthe–Donnacona Navy was part of the Quebec Rugby Football Union, under the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union, which eventually became the Canadian Football League East Division in 1959. On 25 November 1994 the St. Hyacinthe-Donnacona Navy defetad the Hamilton Wildcats 7-1 at the Civic Stadium, in Hamilton, Ontario[2]

At the 1994 Grey Cup the CFL paid special homage[1] In 1969, the then CFL commissioner Jake Gaudaur, gave the team a chance at championship rings for $300 earch.[3]
