In some of the states of India, including Sikkim, Manipur and West Bengal, as well as in the union territory of Lakshadweep, the administrative entities below the districts are named "Sub-Divisions" or "Subdivisions" of India.

Lakshadweep

Ten subdivisions;[1] nine established in 1983, the tenth in 2009.[2]
