Symphony No. 6 (Glazunov)

The Symphony No. 6 in C minor, Op. 58, was composed by Alexander Glazunov in 1896, and was published two years later. It is dedicated to Felix Blumenfeld.

It is in four movements:

  • Adagio (quarter note = 66) – Allegro passionato (half note = 66)
  • Tema con variazioni: Andante (quarter note = 66)
  • Intermezzo (Scherzo allegretto) (eighth note = 138)
  • Finale: Andante maestoso (half note = 60) – Moderato (half note = 92)
