The Last Waltz is the second studio album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck, the second of two albums released in 1967.
Production
Packaging and title
The album was named after his #1[1] single "The Last Waltz," released on August 18, 1967.[2]
Release
Decca Records released the album in the UK on November 10, 1967.[3] Parrot Records issued a version of the album in the US that same month.[4] The US album omitted "Dance With Me", "Walk Hand in Hand", and "Nature Boy" while adding "Misty Blue" and "If I Were You" from the UK version of the Release Me album, plus "Am I That Easy to Forget," which was released as a single in December 1967.[5]
Decca re-issued the UK version of the album on CD in 1988 on the London and Deram labels with 4 additional bonus tracks;[6][7] they released the UK version again in 2017 as disc 2 of The Complete Decca Studio Albums.[8]
