Thomas Bruice

Thomas C. Bruice is a professor of chemistry and biochemistry at University of California, Santa Barbara. He was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1974. He is a pioneering researcher in the area of chemical biology, and is one of the 50 most cited chemists.[1][2]

Education

Bruice earned both his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Southern California. He carried out post-doctoral work at University of California, Los Angeles. He has been a faculty member at Yale University, Johns Hopkins University, and Cornell University.[1] He joined the faculty at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1964.
