Vladimir Dmitriyevich Kazantsev (Russian: Владимир Дмитриевич Казанцев) (6 January 1923 – 22 November 2007) was a Soviet athlete who competed mainly in the 3000 metre steeple chase. He trained at Dynamo in Moscow.

Kazantsev took part in the German-Soviet War in the rank of Private at the Kalinin Front, and was awarded the Order of the Great Patriotic War.[1]

After the war he competed for the USSR in the 1952 Summer Olympics held in Helsinki, Finland in the 3000 metre steeple chase where he won the silver medal.
