The Walter P. Chrysler Museum, which opened in October 1999, is located in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The museum is named after the founder of Chrysler Corporation, Walter P. Chrysler. It features many historically significant Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Jeep, AMC, Nash, Hudson, and Rambler vehicles from various eras.

The museum interior is decorated by original art in the form of murals and dioramas by A. Shapiro.

The museum closed to the public due to low attendance on December 31, 2012. Its assets were sold to the Chrysler Foundation, a charitable arm of Chrysler Group, LLC. It is currently available for private rentals.[1]
