The 2018 Kazakhstan Premier League will be the 27th season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. Astana are the defending champions having won their fourth league championship the previous year.

Teams

FC Okzhetpes and FC Taraz were relegated at the end of the 2016 season, and were replaced by FC Zhetysu and FC Kyzylzhar.

Regular season

In the regular season, teams play each other twice, home and away. After the regular season, the top six teams compete in the championship round while the bottom six teams compete in the regulation round. In both the championship and relegation rounds, teams play each other twice, home and away. Thus, each team plays 32 games. [1] The team in the championship round with the most points scored from 32 games wins the league. And the two teams in the relegation round with the least points scored from 32 games are relegated to the Kazakhstan First Division.
