Adam Bielański

Adam Bielański (born 14 December 1912) is a Polish chemist and professor of the Jagiellonian University.[1] He is a member of the Polish Academy of Science. He is an author of several university level books on inorganic chemistry. Many of them are standard textbooks for students at most universities in Poland.
Bielański was born in Kraków. His brother Władysław (1911–1982) was a professor of biology, as was his sister, Zofia Bielańska-Osuchowska. He turned 100 in December 2012.[2]
