Ann Hoggarth (born c. 1950) is a politician in Ontario, Canada. She is a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario who was elected on June 12, 2014. She represents the riding of Barrie.
Background
Hoggarth was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario.[1] She was an elementary school teacher at Terry Fox Elementary School in Barrie, and a past president of the Simcoe County Elementary Teachers' Federation.[2]
Politics
Hoggarth ran in the June 2014 provincial election as the Liberal candidate in the riding of Barrie. She defeated Progressive Conservative incumbent Rod Jackson by 2,248 votes.[3][2]
She serves as a Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Labour.
