The Building at 136-138 Collins Street in Hartford, Connecticut, is a well-preserved example of Second Empire architecture, a relative rarity in the city. It is a 2-1/2 story brick structure, with a slate mansard roof. It is three bays wide, with its entrance in the center bay, and a two-story projecting pavilion to its right. The roof line and dormers in the mansard section are elaborately carved.[2]

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 29, 1982.[1]
