Calgary-Acadia is a provincial electoral district in the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The district was created in the 2010 boundary redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post voting system.

History

The electoral district was created in the 2010 Alberta boundary re-distribution. It was created primarily from the old electoral district of Calgary-Egmont and a portion of Calgary-Glenmore. Egmont also had some other areas redistributed to Glenmore and Calgary-Fort

This area of Calgary that Calgary-Acadia currently bounds has been returning Progressive Conservative candidates to the Alberta Legislature since 1971 with large majorities. The current incumbent who was elected to her first term is Brandy Payne, who defeated the incumbent, Jonathan Denis in the 2015 general election.
