Donald Stephenson (born September 30, 1988) is an American football offensive tackle for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Stephenson was drafted by the Chiefs in the 3rd Round of the 2012 NFL Draft from the University of Oklahoma.

Professional career

Kansas City Chiefs

Stephenson was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft.[1]

On August 22, 2014, it was announced that Stephenson violated league rules for performance-enhancing drugs and he served a four-game suspension.[2]

During his four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, he started 21 games at both tackle spots and guard.[3]

Denver Broncos

On March 9, 2016, Stephenson signed a three-year deal with the Denver Broncos worth $14 million with $10 million guaranteed until 2019.[4][5]

Entering the 2016 season, the Denver Broncos expect Stephenson will come into training camp as the Broncos' starting right tackle. He has the versatility to play any position on the line except center.[3]
