El Modelo México, literally The (male) Model Mexico, is a male beauty pageant in Mexico which holds the rights of sending the country's representative to the international Mister World contest. It was founded and first held in 1996, after the nation received an invitation to participate in the then newly established Mister World pageant, in which Mexico's debut delegate Gabriel Soto placed second (first runner-up).

El Modelo Mexico is generally held every year the global competition takes place. As of late, the titleholders have been chosen through a national casting. El Modelo Mexico is run by Lupita Jones and the Nuestra Belleza Mexico organization.
