Chatham Dockyard, Kent,England has the finest collection of 18th and 19th century naval dockyard buildings many of which are scheduled as ancient monuments.

Main gate, 1722, desiged in the style of Van Brugh by the MasterShipwright. The Arms are that of George I, newer George III arms are outside.
