Summary

The Temple of the Eight Symbols (八卦城 or "City of the Eight Symbols", although this image only depicts the main temple hall) is the headquarters of the Weixinist Church (唯心教会) in Hebi (鹤壁市), Henan. Weixinism (唯心教) is an organisation synthesising and recasting Chinese religion and philosophy (founded on Yijing and fengshui principles) which was established in Taiwan in the late 20th and early 21st century. Since the 2000s it has rapidly spread to mainland China.
