Gerald Grandey

Gerald W. Grandey (born in 1946) was previously the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cameco Corporation.[1][2] He currently serves on the boards of Nuclear Energy Institute, Canadian Nuclear Association, Bruce Power Inc. and Centerra Gold Inc.[3](a publicly traded gold mining company and a Cameco subsidiary). Mr. Grandey has a degree in geophysical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a law degree from Northwestern University.[4] Grandey is a former chairman of the World Nuclear Association.[5]
In April 2012, it was announced that Mr Grandey was elected to the board of directors at Canadian based mining company, Inmet Mining Corporation.[6]
Grandey was a 1964 graduate of Downey (California) Senior High School. He was a National Merrit Scholar and a Multi-year Letterman in both swimming and waterpolo. He is married with two grown children.
