Sabine Haubitz and Stefanie Zoche were a German atists' duo. The artists Sabine Haubitz and Stefanie Zoche have worked together since 1998 and have positioned themselves in international artistic practice with photographic works, videos and site-specific installations under the name Haubitz + Zoche. Sabine Haubitz suffered a fatal accident in March 2014. Stefanie Zoche will continue the work that bears the signature of the two artists in both their names. Sabine Haubitz (1959–2014) has studied Fine Arts in Berlin and Munich, Stefanie Zoche (*1965) in Perpignan, France, and London. The artists' duo has realized photographic series and site specific installations investigating architecture and public space. In recent years they have focused on environmental issues such as climate change and resources. Haubitz + Zoche have participated in numerous national and international exhibitions (see Weblinks). In 2012 their video sculpture "Vertigo" was presented at Havanna Biennial. In 2011 they were nominated for Prix Pictet. Their Photobook "Sinai Hotels" was awarded the German Photobook Prize in 2007. For their artistic work they have received The Kodak award and project grants from Kulturwerk VG Bildkunst and Kulturreferat München.
