Historic Environment Scotland

Historic Environment Scotland (Scottish Gaelic: Àrainneachd Eachdraidheil Alba) is an executive Non-departmental public body formed from the merger of the government agency Historic Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
Development of website and branding, and progress on integration of the two organisations is to progress in 2016.[2]
History
Under the terms of a Bill of the Scottish Parliament published on 3 March 2014, RCAHMS and Historic Scotland would be dissolved and their functions undertaken by this organisation.[3] This occurred on 1 October 2015.[4]
