Juan Aparicio (priest)

Juan Aparicio O. de M. (fl. second half of the 17th-century) was a Spanish Roman Catholic priest, professor of arts and mathematician.
Biography
Juan Aparicio was born in Enguera, Valencia. Friar Aparacio was a Mercedarian scholar of Hebrew and Greek languages, professor of Arts at the University of Valencia and examiner. He also held the chair of mathematics, which he was very fond of; later he was promoted to the rank of teacher and was synodal examiner of the archbishopric.
Juan Aparicio died on April 23, 1696.
