Kaštel Štafilić is a town within the administrative area of Kaštela in Dalmatia, Croatia. The oldest tree in Croatia, an olive tree estimated to be over 1,500 years old, is in Kaštela.

History

Kofran-Rotondo, the castle of the Štafilić family was built in 1508 by the Trogirian nobleman Stjepan Štafilić on an island, and later linked to the land with a movable bridge. The eighteenth-century parish church was built by Ignacije Macanović, as an elegant late Barroque single-naved edifice.[1]
