North Augusta is a community in the municipality of Augusta, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, in eastern Ontario, Canada.[1] An unincorporated place and Police village, it has a population of approximately 500,[citation needed] and is located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the city of Brockville and 19 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Prescott. Kemptville Creek begins in the community.

Community
The community is served by Finucan's General Store/Gas Station, an LCBO/Convenience Store, Woody's Restaurant, The Creekside Diner and Foley's Auto Wrecking. North Augusta also has a volunteer fire department and a community hall which holds council meetings, small concerts and other community functions. The Bellamy Grist Mill was once located in North Augusta but was moved to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg to become part of that open-air museum.
Education
Students from the community may attend Algonquin, Merickville or Maynard for primary school, and high schools in Prescott and Brockville, such as Brockville Collegiate Institute, St. Mary Catholic High School, South Grenville District High School, or Thousand Islands Secondary School.
Recreation
The village has a soccer field as well as a baseball diamond, with soccer and baseball leagues running throughout the summer. A new children's playground was installed in 2011 replacing the old wooden one. An important attraction is the town's Labour Day Festival, which offers festivities over the three-day weekend such as a parade, baseball tournaments, car show, and a horseshoe tournament. North Augusta is also home to a small pro wrestling promotion called Professional Championship Wrestling (PCW). PCW holds small shows during the summer and uses many local wrestlers as their main talent.
