Nu Tucanae (ν Tuc, ν Tucanae) is a star in the constellation Tucana.

Nu Tucanae is a M-type red giant with a mean apparent magnitude of +4.91. It is approximately 290 light years from Earth.[1] It is classified as a semiregular variable star and its brightness varies from magnitude +4.75 to +4.93.[2]
