Paul Lee (television executive)

Paul Lee is a British television executive who was president of ABC Entertainment Group from 2010 to 2016, heading the major US television network ABC and its production arm ABC Studios.[1][2][3]

Background

Lee, aged 63–64,[4] was born in London and grew up in Oxfordshire. He graduated from Oxford University, where he studied Russian and Portuguese.[5]

Lee joined the BBC in 1984, initially as a trainee, and in 1998 he moved to America to launch the US cable channel BBC America. In 2004, he joined ABC as head of the US cable network ABC Family.[6] Later, in 2016, he was replaced as President of ABC Entertainment by Channing Dungey.
