Tiago Filipe Figueiras Gomes (born 19 August 1985 in Vila Franca de Xira, Portugal) is a Portuguese football midfielder who currently plays for Steaua Bucureşti on loan from Portuguese team C.F. Estrela da Amadora.
He was part of the Benfica youth team for a few years when he was young before coming into professional football. His previous clubs include Estoril-Praia, Oriental and Odivelas. Gomes made his debut in the league for Estrela da Amadora against Naval on 27 August 2006. Gomes recently revealed he turned down the opportunity to join Manchester City, instead choosing to join Steaua Bucureşti, citing his love for Manchester United and his wish to one day play for them.
