Rajgaeh is a village in Sangod in Kota district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village .

Geography

Rajgarh is located on the Paravan Riverside . It is a historical village known as Tikana Rajgarh of Kota Reyasat .

Demographics

The village population is 1781 in 344 families, of which 927 are males while 854 are females as per Population Census 2011.[1]


Children age 0-6 number 256 or 14.37%. The Average Sex Ratio is 921, lower than the state average of 928. The Child Sex Ratio 1098, higher than Rajasthan average of 888.

Kulama Balaji

Rata Devi

Rata Devi is an ancient hindu temple which is situated in sorsan wildlife site near Rajgarh village .

This temple is in runnel side of rivulet known as “Rata Daha” in arean ( local ) language that is flow towards Paravan river and get together Paravan river at a distance of 500 meters from Rata Devi temple .

Birds Watching Site At Rata Devi

The Paravan river and Rata Daha (rivulet) meeting place is good scene to watch various type of birds . It is attractive and likely vanue to the birds . Some wildlife animals come here to drink water, mostly deer of Sorsan Wildlife Sanctuary .
