Salomon Solano (born September 19, 1985) is a Mexican defensive tackle for the Rio Grande Valley Sol of X-League Indoor Football. He has recently played for the Baltimore Ravens (2009) and the Detroit Lions (2008). Prior to that he was signed by the Rhein Fire in 2006. He played college football at Tamaulipas.

Solano has also been a member of the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League[1] and Green Bay Blizzard of the Indoor Football League,[2] where he is teammate of another two Mexican players, Ramiro Pruneda and Eduardo Castañeda.

He was the head coach of the National team at the 2009 IFAF Junior World Cup[3]

He was also part of the World Team, against the US national team on February 2, 2011, game played in Austin, Texas. Solano was assistant coach.[4][5]
