Shawn McNulty (born April 15, 1975 in St. Paul, Minnesota) is an abstract expressionist painter based out of the Twin Cities.[1][2][3] McNulty has exhibited throughout the United States, including at Dartmouth University’s Hopkins Center for the Arts where he received Best in Show Award.[4]
Artistry
McNulty's works have been influenced by Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock. His works are contained in the collections of The Setai Fifth Avenue in New York City, New York and the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada and are owned by among others former US President Bill Clinton, former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura and two time Super Bowl winning Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.[1][2][5][6] Shawn McNulty graduated BFA '97 from St. John's University (Minnesota).[4]
