Not the way to do it
I am going to roll back that change because it is not the way to fix the problem.
I will disabled the template that is being used so that if we ever get the Wikibase stuff working we can simply re-enable them again.
If you look at the Template:Internet Archive author you will see that I disabled the invoke with ah HTML comment. We can easily re-enable it later.
