EXT. SUBURBAN HILLSIDE PARK - DAY |
We... um. What are we doing? |
Listening to your existential angst make mountains out of mole hills followed by an orbital dynamics 101 class. |
I am a ramblin' man. Wait. Am I in trouble? What did I do? What do we need to talk about? |
No trouble. But you could work on your social skills more. After all, our family is about to get much bigger soon. |
Ya, Grandma and Grandpa are coming soon. Stronger together and all that. It will be nice.
We're going to bring aquaponics to the whole neighbourhood. Farming fish and vegetables and herbs and fruit and...
|
Aquaponics is a fish farm? |
It's a whole system - for growing fish and plants.
But you said, "that too". And, "much bigger soon". Does that mean...?
|
So it turns out we're good for an adoption! We're going to have another child - or two. |
That's terrific news! But two? Does this mean twins are a new option? |
Nope. Not that I know of. We can go down and check them out next week. It'd be nice to have it all in place before my folks come. |
Siblings? Did we ask for more than one? |
We didn't ask them for more, but in a way you were asking for it... |
Wait, what? You're pregnant? Pwooow! How mind-blowingly terrific! I wondered what the sudden weight gain was about - now I know we've got about a week to go. |
How come no one asked me? This is more than fishy. |
I can tease now because soon I won't be able to. In half a year you'll... Argh! |
Aye I eye. It's not that bad. Just sudden and startling. My antiquated cochlear implant is acting up. Only when I get excited and do a certain... Argh! |
|
ERNEST's cochlear implant for his deaf right ear squeaks as the whole side of his face reacts and his right eye winces. |
I mean, I can stop. So - this is so exciting! |
The camera slowly pulls back to a wide shot by the end of the scene... |
Stop and smell the roses. Get back to roots, get grounded, plant yourself. Re-find the refined. Remember what counts. This is another whole new chapter in our adventure together. |
Indeed. Re-find the refined. Nice. |
Remember what counts - to a stats man? Well, you're half refined and you're half refined, and if I'm refined so that makes 2 of us. Not bad. Still need refinement. |
No one said you're refined. |
Continued in next scene... |

An aspect ratio (image) of 2:1, aka Univisium, aka 18:9, keeps widescreen proportions super simple - plus there's a fascinating history, many more technical economies gained, and growing support adopting this newer Univisium format. Many mobile devices feature 2:1 (18:9) screens and it's a new mandatory standard of content platforms like Netflix and Amazon Video - a creative limitation for those who may want alternatives.[2][3][4]
