USNS Bismarck (T-EPF-9) will be the ninth Spearhead-class expeditionary fast transport, to be operated by the Military Sealift Command.[1] It will be the first ship in naval service named after Bismarck, North Dakota’s capital city.[2] Bismarck will be built in Mobile, Alabama by Austal USA.[3]
