Uwe Benter (born December 1, 1955) is a German rower who competed for West Germany in the 1972 Summer Olympics.
He was born in Frankfurt am Main and is the younger brother of Lutz Benter.
In 1972 he was the coxswain of the West German boat which won the gold medal in the coxed fours event.
