Velleia montana is a perennial herbaceous plant that is native to New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania in Australia, growing mainly in woodland and subalpine grassland, and at higher altitudes south from Boonoo Boonoo. It has oblanceolate to obovate leaves that are 1.5 to 8 cm (0.59 to 3.15 in) long and 6 to 30 mm (0.24 to 1.18 in) wide. The yellow flowers have a 7 to 10 mm (0.28 to 0.39 in) corolla. It blooms from November to February.[1]
