Viventura is a professional tourism network that organizes tours in South America.[3] The company was founded simultaneously in Germany and Peru in 2001 and provides personalized travel services. They are known for fixed departure small group tours for travelers in South America as well as pre-developed travel packages and tailor-made trips. The company provides in-depth exploration of locations visited instead of simple bus tours.[2] They have offices in Berlin, Germany, La Paz, Bolivia, Quito, Ecuador, Arequipa, Peru, and Tampa, Florida. In 2011, the company expanded into the United States, offering travel services to South America from the U.S.[2]
The company has organized tours with numerous partners in South America including the World Wide Fund for Nature.[4] They are known for organizing tours that visit areas in South America that include schools and old age homes, providing a first-hand experience for travelers; and, have been attributed with helping the local economies in regions of South America.[1][5]
