In 1999, van der Vliet edited the original museum films for the Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam which have been playing since.[13]

After working in the Dutch film industry for several years, van der Vliet started working in Copenhagen. Here he met Kaspar Munk[14] from No Sun Productions for whom he edited: Simply Fish, En Lille Død and Forsvunden.[15] In 2008, van der Vliet started working with the Danish documentary film director Tao Nørager.[16] They collaborate under the name Roaddox. They primarily produce films about creative people or processes, and use the new media as their platform.[17] Together with Nørager, van der Vliet created the documentary Bible Black, a movie about the fashion designer "Andrew Mackenzie".[18]

Van der Vliet has been teaching film editing at Københavns Tekniske Skole, a technical school in Copenhagen. [19] [20] [21]

In October 2010 Wiebe started an Apple certified training centre AATC together with Glad Foundation. The Web Video Academy. The purpose was to create better interactivity between the disabled people working at TV-Glad (The Glad Foundation's, TV station) and professionals from the Danish film and TV industry.

In February 2011 Svend Ade Juncker came on board to take care of marketing. Apart from running the training centre, the collaboration between Juncker, van der Vliet and TV-Glad resulted in a boost for TV-Glads video production department Glad Production. Glad production produces commercial video content for company's and institutions with a crew of disabled people. The creative companionship between Juncker and van der Vliet resulted in fun branding strategies like ringtones and podcasts for the Glad foundation and development of new products such as an app, Glad tour, which will help disabled people to find their way around when going out. The app is supposed to launch in 2013.

January 2012 Giusy Naitana started working at TV-Glad. This has led to the collaboration between Naitana and van der Vliet under the name Kliiplab.
