Zee Cinema is a Hindi satellite movie channel in India based in Mumbai.[1] The channel is owned by the popular Zee Entertainment Enterprises which is a part of Essel Group, and broadcasts in many countries around the world. The channel was formerly a part of STAR TV channel umbrella.[1] [2]

Founded in April 1995, Zee Cinema was the first Hindi movie channel in India. This channel is broadcast 24 hours a day, broadcasting around six movies and other types of film based programming. Zee Cinema is broadcast for more than 75% of the cable and satellite households across India. From 13th September 2015, Zee Cinema also started broadcasting WWE Action Mania, which is a Hindi version of WWE Live Event.
