Óscar Rubén Fernández Romero (born 28 September 1974) is a Spanish association football coach.

Coaching career

Valencia

In 2007, Valencia fired coach Quique Flores, and Fernández was appointed interim coach.[1] After his last game with Valencia when the beat Mallorca 2-0 with 2 goals from Fernando Morientes, after the match he said <templatestyles src="Template:Blockquote/styles.css" />

After that game Fernández was sacked and went to manage the B team for new first-team coach Ronald Koeman.[3][4]

Huracán

In 2011, he became the newly formed Huracán Valencia first first-team coach. Having not even played one game with the club he moved to the more attracting Greek Super League side Asteras Tripoli.[5]
