Belgian League Cup
From Infogalactic: the planetary knowledge core
The Belgian League Cup was a Belgian association football cup created in 1975. The competition was held in 1975, 1985 and 1986 before being disbanded. It was revived in 1998. Due to disagreements over television rights combined with poor attendances and a lack of interest from the top clubs, the trophy only lasted for three years, and was cancelled already after the 2000-01 edition. The winners of the tournament qualified for the Intertoto Cup.
