Bella and the Bulldogs is an American sitcom that airs on Nickelodeon. The series was created by Jonathan Butler and Gabriel Garza. The series premiered on January 17, 2015.

Plot

The series follows cheerleader Bella Dawson whose life in Texas takes an unexpected twist when she is recruited to become the new quarterback for her school's football team, the Bulldogs. At first, the rest of the team do not want her as quarterback, but they eventually accept her.

Production

On March 4, 2015, the show was renewed for a second season.[1] The second season premiered on September 30, 2015.

Broadcast

Bella and the Bulldogs premiered on March 18, 2015, on YTV in Canada[2] and on April 4 on Nickelodeon in Australia and New Zealand.[3] The series premiered on the Southeast Asian feed of Nickelodeon on April 6, 2015, in Singapore and the Philippines and on April 11, 2015, in Malaysia.[4] In the United Kingdom and Ireland, Nickelodeon debuted the series on May 4, 2015.[5] In Africa, the pilot debuted on June 26, 2015, and the series officially premiered on September 7, 2015.[6][7]
