Blalock–Hanlon procedure

Lua error in Module:Infobox at line 235: malformed pattern (missing ']'). The Blalock–Hanlon procedure is a form of heart surgery.

It involves the intentional creation of a septal defect in order to alter the flow of oxygenated blood.

It was developed by Alfred Blalock and C. Rollins Hanlon.

It was described in 1950.[1]
