Bois Bandé (French spelling or bwa bandé, Creole spelling) is the bark of the tree Richeria grandis. It has had a long reputation in the Caribbean as an aphrodisiac. The name "Bois Bande" means "Erection wood" from the French, bois (wood) + bander (erection).
